Swine influenza 

It is a highly contagious respiratory viral infection of pigs caused by the swine influenza virus, characterized by coughing, nasal discharge, elevated rectal temperatures, lethargy, difficulty breathing, and loss of appetite. Decreased infertility and rarely associated with reproductive disorders such as miscarriage. 

The first clinical symptoms are fever (40.5-41.5ºC), puffy eyes, anorexia, weight loss, depression, prostration, and agitation which leads to weakness. These symptoms are followed by a sudden onset of severe respiratory symptoms, including coughing, sneezing, abnormal breathing in the abdomen, and discharge from the eyes and nose.
